Here is a digitally manipulated photo created in the style of M.C. Escher, purposefully designed to make you question which way is up. How many different photos were used in creating this photo?

If you had a need to boil water and only had a candle and a glass, what would you do? If you were photographer Georg Pillwein you would be creative and boil the water from inside the glass.

It is rare that an actual photograph will exhibit the feel of motion. This photo is an example of a real life anomalous motion optical illusion. Not everyone is able to see every illusion so I ask, is it just me or does this static image appear to be rotating?

Global warming has caused the seas to rise, yet somehow women, men and fish are getting along just fine. This is an excellent photograph by flickr artist Jef Safi.
Understand that this has not been digitally manipulated in any way. How do you suppose he got this effect? I guess it could just be an experimental under water commune.

The photo artist states "No "photoshop magic" here. A little tweaking of colors and such, but that's it."
So how do you take this kind photo?
Excellently done.

Every time I see a do-it-yourself optical illusion with the Leaning Tower of Pisa the people are trying to hold the tower up.

I have seen this image around the net for awhile now. I thought that I would post it here because everywhere I saw this image posted people assumed it was this big shark and they all wondered if this photo had been altered in any way. The truth is this picture is real and has not been doctored in any way. After all it comes from surfshooter.com a site that specializes in surf action pictures.
