Below is an interesting optical illusion that I modified to fit the color scheme here. At first glance you may see four colors: black, purple, green and blue. In fact beside the black there are only two colors.

Beside black these are the only two colors in the above image.
Check the RGB values yourself.

ReplyDeleteThis didn't work for me, I only saw the two colours.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see the blue in today's optical illusion. What does that mean with regard to my vision. I have had both lenses removed and replaced during the standard cataract removal procedure. Does that make a difference?
ReplyDeleteI think the pixels are a tad too big for this illusion to work properly. If the picture was smaller, we would see the different colours.
ReplyDeleteStupid. I only saw 2 colors as well. NOt a very good optical illusion...
ReplyDeleteI only saw three colors, purple, black and green, no blue. Maybe your should readjust the pixels and post again. SO, what does this mean in terms of visual illusions anyway? In other words, why do we only see 3 colors?
ReplyDeleteBeen awhile since anything new has been posted.. have you closed up shop?

ReplyDeleteShylah,
ReplyDeleteI haven't closed up shop just been distracted with some family problems followed up by a personal illness. I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel and will be scouring the world anew for more interesting items.
