    also the lag which is out the frame is a picture. and the man just put his hand there...

  2. I'm guessing the frame, leg, and shadow of the leg are all painted on the wall. Basically a mural.

    How the illusory effect is accomplished:

    A combination of a Trompe-l'oeil painting [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trompe_l%27oeil ] and forced perspective.

    The other two comments are correct. My explanation just gives a name to the style of painting, and the camera trick used.

    The lack of a corresponding shadow from the man's arm connected with the shadow from the woman's leg makes it obvious that the image is merely a mural.
