Real Impossible Construction?

This optical illusion is very well done. Can you guess the exact nature of this construction.

Hint: Not all seemingly 90 degree angles are even close to 90 degrees.

Anonymous said...: I don't think it's a couple of blocks. I think this illusion involves a carving. What is being seen is actually concave (I think). The hand is covering up a nail going the other way and due to the darkness and the angle, you don't see the other end of the other nail. It's like looking at a drawing of a cube with an open face. Which way would that cube be facing? I think this follows the same concept.; ...

Then cut again length wise, all the way to the previous cut leaving a very thin strip of the side of the block intact. the 3rd block is attached to the top block.
