Optical Illusions Etc...

Description Presented here is a vast gallery of many different forms of Optical Illusions. Whether these optical illusions are conveyed through fractals, photographs, architecture, art, or old fashioned pen and ink, they are bound to remind you that "seeing is not believing."

Caution!!!! Some of the optical illusions on this blog may cause dizziness or possibly epileptic seizures. The latter happens when the brain can't handle the conflicting information from your two eyes. If you start feeling unwell when using this website, immediately cover one eye with your hand and then leave the page. Do not close your eyes because that can make the attack worse.

That is pretty amazing. But am I the only one wondering what the heck they're doing with this thing in a clearly residential neighborhood? Looking at that thing gives me nightmares of some kid walking into it and getting fried!

Looks like a nice residential neighborhood. I wonder if a neighbor called the cops? What kind of kid would walk into a Tesla coil?
Instructions to build a Tesla coil are here: http://www.teslacoildesign.com/
I also like the Tesla coil on: http://technabob.com/blog/2009/12/22/tesla-coil-christmas-tree/

"What kind of kid would walk into a Tesla coil?"

The kind of kid who's a kid. You know, the kind who doesn't know any better. Or the kind who is running around being a kid and trips or just accidentally runs into it.
