Caution!!!! Some of the optical illusions on this blog may cause dizziness or possibly epileptic seizures. The latter happens when the brain can't handle the conflicting information from your two eyes. Fractal Animation Optical Illusion

This animated fractal spiral presents the illusion that you are in control. It says "Click and hold the mouse button to control the spiral movement" but let go and realize that in truth you had very little control the entire time.

This is just one of the many Macromedia Flash MX experiments created by Arse. His site has many interesting flash presentations. He let me share this one here for your enjoyment.

Anonymous said...: I don't see how this is an illusion. You can control the direction of spin, the speed, and the radius quite clearly. Its not hard to bring it to a complete stop at its smallest size.; ...
