Description Presented here is a vast gallery of many different forms of Optical Illusions. Whether these optical illusions are conveyed through fractals, photographs, architecture, art, or old fashioned pen and ink, they are bound to remind you that "seeing is not believing."

Caution!!!! Some of the optical illusions on this blog may cause dizziness or possibly epileptic seizures. The latter happens when the brain can't handle the conflicting information from your two eyes. If you start feeling unwell when using this website, immediately cover one eye with your hand and then leave the page. Do not close your eyes because that can make the attack worse.

The Ghosts of No Evil

The photo artist states "No "photoshop magic" here. A little tweaking of colors and such, but that's it."

So how do you take this kind photo?

Excellently done.

The artist explains how it is done "It's just a long exposure and multiple manually-triggered flash firings."

Hi there,

I just ran across this posting, when googling for this image to send someone a link to it.

How did I do it, without "photoshop magic"? It's a 10 second exposure, with a flash/strobe fired 3 times during the exposure, one for each position of the model. She just slid along the bench, re-posed, and I walked in front of her, keeping far enough from her to be out of the main throw of the light.

Thanks for noticing the image; I hope this information is helpful!

Cheers,

David
