Anonymous said...: Yes, they are jelly fish floating in the current, perhaps moving along on their own.

While the collapsing effect makes them look a bit like explosions in some fashion, the filament like tentacles are a dead giveaway.

Guess I have spent too much time living on the coast and watching too much discovery channel to mistake it for anything else.; ...
